Join the ISA Edmonton Section IN-PERSON on Tuesday, November 1, for an in-depth technical talk about The Utility of the Future! Looking inside a crystal ball... what can we expect and how can we prepare?
As the world enters another Industrial Revolution, the opportunities presented by Industry 4.0 are ripe with innovative solutions requiring automation and instrumentation. However as always, along with what might be seen as the proverbial “low hanging fruit”, there are new challenges that will only be found by those pioneers who journey to explore this new world.
If you're an automation industry professional, don't miss this chance to hear about what this could involve and the drivers pushing it forward. Mark will share his first-hand experience and strategies from a water and wastewater utilities perspective.
Mark Brosseau P.Eng. is the Senior Manager Plants Control Automation at EPCOR. He has over 25 years of experience in the implementation of control systems in industrial environments in Alberta as well as projects in China, South Africa and Cuba. He is an electrician by trade, a graduate from NAIT’s Instrumentation Engineering program and has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the U of A. In his free time he enjoys reading, golf, curling, skiing and family times which includes 4 grandkids who help him to remember about the adventures of growing up all over again.
