Presentation Overview

The Energy Discovery Centre, the first pure hydrogen-heated commercial building in North America, and HomeOne, the first pure hydrogen-heated home in North America, have established ATCO as a leader in hydrogen. These trailblazing projects have been previously unexplored in North America, and in turn presented unique challenges. In this presentation, ATCO will explain how these were handled, explore details, and - even - dive into the electronics & instrumentation that allow them to operate successfully.

We'll wrap with a fireside chat led by Meenal Mishra and others from the ISA Edmonton Section Board.

Location & Directions

This event takes place at the NAIT Spartan Centre in the Nexen Theatre (room # Y240), 11720 103 St NW (a BIG thanks to the NAIT Instrumentation Engineering Technology program for sponsoring the space). Enter the building from the EAST entrance, go to the second floor, Nexen Theatre is located in the southwest corner of the "maze". Please call Heidi at 780-691-7755 if you have any issues with finding the room.

Parking is available in the L Lot (closest) - or - M Parkade (accessible via 103 St) for a flat rate of $5 for the evening after 4pm east of the building.
