Job Description
Wave Control Systems Ltd., an industry leader in engineered process equipment, is seeking a full-time, extremely self-motivated Inside Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.
The objective of this position is to work with prospective clients and the engineering team to prepare a technically and economically sound quote and to perform other related inside sales administrative work. This is a new, entry-level position reporting to the engineering manager.
Job Qualifications
- Some knowledge of electrical/electronics and must be mechanically inclined
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Academic technical credentials from a trades institute, college or equivalent aptitude is an asset
- Some sales or business training and/or experience is an asset
Job Responsibilities
- Focus heavily on understanding the customer’s requirements to deliver effective solutions
- Prepare, send, and follow up on quotes; perform applicable CRM activities
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines and operations to ensure bid documents are completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner
- Process incoming orders in a timely manner while ensuring relevant technical and commercial information is accurate
- Develop and maintain technical and commercial knowledge of our products and services
- Work as a team member with Operations and Engineering to help with product and process improvements (customer feedback, technical improvements, etc.)
- Assist with development of accurate costing and quoting tools
- Other technical, sales and administrative work that may be required
