Job Description
Samson Controls Inc. in Sherwood Park, AB is seeking an enthusiastic, talented sales professional for the position of Account Manager. The person in this role will be responsible for generating and growing sales relationships with customers by identifying needs and opportunities within the product lines and matching the appropriate product offering. The Account Manager will work as part of a collaborative team to drive sales by focusing on acquisition, development, retention and management of strategic clients in designated territories.
Job Responsibilities
- Researches and reports marketplace and competitive information for sales strategy planning
- Develops personal sales objectives and strategies with management and successfully achieves budgeted sales goals
- Builds and maintains good relationships with new sales prospects, existing customers, and internal support personnel
- Builds and maintains good relationships with new sales prospects, existing customers, and internal support personnel
- Coordinates with Inside Sales Team to keep account activities updated
- Monitors delivery date commitments and expedites where appropriate
- Performs other related duties as required
Job Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in technical sales focused on instrumentation. (Preference will be given to candidates with valve background)
- Technical engineering diploma from post-secondary institution
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Experience with CRM would be an asset
- A valid driver's license, and a clean motor vehicle report are required.
