JOB DESCRIPTION
This exciting new growth position will play a key role in building and maintaining customer relationships in our Edmonton location. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this individual is responsible for engaging customers, providing quotes, suggesting engineered solutions of varied complexities, performing contract reviews and finalizing the sale.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting customers in finding the right solution/timing that fits their specific need and requirement while maintaining CG’s high level of service
- Accurately preparing, issuing and processing of customer quotes and PO’s
- Delivering superior service by proactively following up on customer quotes
- Ensuring customers are using products appropriately; determining if other products will best meet the customer’s needs
- Providing support to customers to resolve product issues
- Collaborating with the Outside Sales Representative to provide assistance on open quotes
- Prospecting and relationship building with potential new customers
- Performing contract reviews
- Assisting with projects as requested
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Process Engineering and 3-5 years relevant work experience (prior knowledge in the valve industry would be an asset)
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, are pivotal
- A passion for relationship building
- Demonstrated ability to empathize with the needs and concerns of customers
- Adaptable to changing priorities
- Possess a continuous desire to learn and improve
