Job Description
BHD Instrumentation is a leading supplier of process instrumentation, test equipment and reliability solutions. BHD has a 25 year track record of success, offices across Western Canada and products from industries top manufacturers. We are a leading supplier to industrial clients in the resource and municipal market segments for all of their purchase, rental and calibration requirements.
Due to expansion we are looking for an exceptional Inside Technical Sales Representative to support our customers and outside sales team. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with the client base. The successful candidate must be adept at handling multiple priorities and clearly communicate technical information. There is a opportunity for this role to develop into an outside sales position with demonstrated success.
The successful applicant must possess a strong work ethic, good people skills and be adept at building business relationships. A strong sense of customer service with acute attention to detail is critical to being successful in this position.

Job Responsibilities
• Respond to incoming request from customers and the outside sales team for product information, pricing, delivery and expedite requests
• Proactively build and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
• Identify, develop and close business opportunities
• Process customer orders and place orders on vendors
• Other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years of Inside Sales &/or Customer Service experience; ideally in the industrial instrumentation market space
• Education or work experience in the instrumentation field will be considered in lieu of inside sales &/or customer service experience
• Excellent time and work management skills
• Highly internally motivated, self-starter, and organized.
• Acute attention to detail, takes ownership of opportunities and assigned tasks
