The ISA Edmonton Section's U of A Industry Challenge offers an amazing opportunity for students and industry to collaborate! The goal is for students to get an idea of what it's like to consult on a project and for industry to benefit from their free solutions.
Industry
Here's your chance to get involved with the post-secondary scene and have students come up with a solution to a problem that your company faces.
Companies in our industry will be approached by the U of A Student Chapter in the fall of 2018 and asked if they'd like to participate. We require that companies confirm their participation by October 31, 2018. Up to 3 companies will be accepted for our inaugural year (first come, first served). Selected companies are required to submit their problem by November 15, 2018 via our U of A Student Industry Challenge Problem Submission online form.
Donations from participating companies are welcome, however not mandatory. Proceeds will be put towards prize money and supplies for prototypes (as needed).
November 14, 2018 Update - We are pleased to announce that ACAMP, Weidmuller and AirMarket have provided problems!
