The grand finale of the ISA Student Games happened this past weekend in Calgary...
Earlier this year, in January 2015, NAIT and U of A Students competed in the ISA Edmonton Student Games (hosted at NAIT). Out of the 16 students that competed, 12 continued on to Calgary to compete in the ISA SAIT Students Games, a larger competition that attracts post secondary students (studying instrumentation, process control and all things automation) from all over North America.
Our NAIT and U of A Students (and the ISA Edmonton Student Section) proved to be players! Zubia Najam was on the winning team that won the coveted Golden Transmitter (the Oscar of the Student Games), Sundas Shahnawaz & Tyler Dittmer's team took second place, and Jenny Pearce's team finished in third.
Congratulations to all of our winners and a big thank you to everyone that participated.
