The ISA Edmonton Section is proud to announce that 5 students from U of A and NAIT have been chosen as ISA Educational Foundation 2015 Scholarship Award recipients.
Students were awarded a scholarship because they show outstanding potential for contributions to the field of automation.
The ISA Edmonton Section reached out to our local award recipients to hear what each of them had to say about their win...
"I would like to sincerely thank the International Society of Automation for the scholarship award which will be used to towards accommodation expenses during the academic year." - Ahmad Al-Dabbagh, U of A
"I would like to thank ISA for choosing me as ISA-fundamental award holder. It’s such a great honor. The award will be investigated toward my PhD study, mainly in developing advanced control methods for energy storage for a green power system. Thanks again, ISA for supporting my research financially and mentally by this award." - Hussein Abdeltawab, U of A
